This scholarship is intended to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying at Murdoch University. There are two scholarships valued at $26,288 per year.

Be enrolling in one of the following degrees on a full-time basis:
• Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
• Research Masters with Training (RMT)
• Master of Laws by Research (LLM)
• Masters of Education by Research (Med)

Payments will be made on a fortnightly basis

Eligibility:

To apply for this scholarship you must be:

  • An Australian citizen
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (you may be required to provide documentation to support during the interview process)
  • Intending to enroll, or currently enrolled, in one of the following degrees on a full-time basis:
    • Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
    • Research Masters with Training (RMT)
    • Master of Laws by Research (LLM)
    • Masters of Education by Research (MEd)

1 Download and complete the application form
2 Contact the Kulbardi Aborginial Centre to make appointment with one of our Academic staff members on (08)9360 2128 or email kulbardi@murdoch.edu.au
3 Kulbardi staff will assist you to complete your application (write research proposal, find potential supervisors etc.)
4 Submit application by 31st October to graduateresearchdegrees@murdoch.edu.au

What happens next?

  • Applications are reviewed by an Graduate Research Office and the Kulbardi Aboringinal Centre
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an interview process to determine successful applicants
  • Successful applicants will be notified in writing
