TAFE WA Rewards

Be rewarded whilst studying for your degree at Murdoch university. This reward acknowledges commencing students who have completed a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree at one of TAFE WA’s institutions and are continuing their studies in the same field at Murdoch university.

Value:

$3,000

Closes:

Monday 5th March 2018, 4:00pm (Australian WST).

Payment:

Subject to the terms and conditions of the award being met, the $3,000 award is paid in two equal instalments (of AU$1,500 each) directly to the successful recipient's nominated Australian bank account, after the census date of each of the first two consecutive semesters of study.

Eligibility:

To apply for this scholarship you must:

  • Be a current or past student at one of the following institutions:
    • Challenger Institute of Technology (now South Metropolitan TAFE)
    • Central Institute of Technology (now North Metropolitan TAFE)
    • Polytechnic West (now South Metropolitan TAFE)
    • West Coast Institute of Technology (now North Metropolitan TAFE)
  • Be completing, or have completed a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or an Associate Degree;
  • Have submitted an application for one of Murdoch University's courses in 2017;
  • Give permission for your image and name to be used by the University in their media and publications.

How to apply

1 Download and save the application form.
2 Complete the form and save it under your name.
3 Email the completed form and required documents to: scholarships@murdoch.edu.au

What happens next?

Applications will be assessed based on the information included in the application (and the personal statement) and scholarships will be granted to students that meet the eligibility criteria. In cases where there are more eligible scholarship applicants than there are scholarships to allocate, the scholarships will be awarded to the top applicants as ranked by the appropriate School Scholarships committee.

The outcome of the application will be advised by email and no further correspondence will be entered into.

The University reserves the right not to award scholarships if there are no suitable applicants.
