Murdoch University School of Veterinary and Life Sciences:
Environmental Science Scholarships

The School of Veterinary and Life Sciences will be awarding scholarships of $3000.00 to the top 20 domestic applicants with the top ATAR scores or IB equivalent results commencing in the Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) in Semester 1, 2017.

To be eligible, students must list Environmental Science (MUSES) as their first preference on TISC, meet English Language requirements, and attain a minimum raw ATAR score (prior to any RISE bonus) of 70.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the award being met, the $3,000 award is paid in two equal instalments (of AU$1,500 each) directly to a nominated recipient's bank account after Week 7 or 8of the first two consecutive semesters of study. In other words:

  • The first AU$1,500 payment will credited to the nominated bank account after Week 7 or 8 of the first semester of study at Murdoch University;
  • The second payment of AU$1,500 will also be credited to the nominated bank account after Week 7 or 8 of the second semester of study at Murdoch University (the semester immediately after the recipients first semester of study)

Allocated to the highest achieving school leavers entering each program in 2017.

What happens next?

Applicants will be assessed based on the published eligibility criteria. If the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of awards that can be granted, award applicants will be ranked and awards made based on highest ATAR scores or IB equivalents in the first instance and then by recommended subjects followed by English competence levels.
