Murdoch First Scholarship
This is a first by a Western Australian university - Murdoch has introduced this ground-breaking new student scholarship to acknowledge and congratulate high-potential first-year students across the State who nominate Murdoch University as their first preference in TISC. Alternatively, mature-aged applicants who apply to Murdoch directly can still be recognized by completing the application form at the bottom of this page.

*Students who intend to enrol in the Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (BSc/DVM) course should refer to the Murdoch University Academic Excellence Award - Veterinary Science.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the award being met, the award is paid in two equal instalments of half value directly to a recipient's nominated bank account after the census date of each of the first two consecutive semesters of study

You can apply for this Scholarship if you have a RAW ATAR of 80 or higher.
Please be aware this scholarship does not apply to the Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (BSc/DVM) course. For this course please see the Murdoch University Academic Excellence - Veterinary Science.

How to apply
For applicants who choose to apply through TISC, no application form is required, simply:
- Apply through TISC before the Monday 23 January 2017, 11.00pm to be considered for second round offers;
- Have a Murdoch University course as their first preference in TISC; and
- Receive a main round offer for an eligible Murdoch University course and accept your offer.
For applicants who choose to apply directly to Murdoch University through MyAdmissions:
- Download and complete the application form;
- Email the following documents to firstname.lastname@example.org
Completed application form; and
A copy of your TISC admissions advice letter proving your raw ATAR score.
Students who received an offer to study at Murdoch in 2016 and deferred that offer will need to complete the above form for consideration.
