Physics and Nanotechnology Scholarship

The School of Engineering and IT is offering a scholarship to a high achieving student who is intending to begin their studies in the Physics and Nanotechnology program at Murdoch University.


One scholarship is available

Subject to the recipient's ongoing acceptance of the terms and conditions, payment will be made in the following instalments:

  • $750 per semester, for up to 8 semesters (inclusive of honours).

To apply for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;
  • Intend to enrol full-time in Physics and Nanotechnology program at Murdoch University;
  • Have completed WACE with a minimum raw ATAR score of 80; and
  • Nominate Murdoch University's Physics and Nanotechnology Program as your first preference on your TISC application.

  • At least two written references

What happens next?

  • Your overall eligibility.
  • Evidence of high achievement in previous studies or employment.
  • A personal statement that describes your desire and motivation for studying Physics and Nanotechnology, as well as your focus, initiative and approach towards these studies.
  • References by one or two teachers who are familiar with your work in Years 11 and 12 Physics.
