WSM Scholarship

The WSM Scholarships have been established with the generous support of Kwinana-based business Waste Stream Management. These scholarships aim to support students who reside in the City of Kwinana and are in genuine need of financial help.

Value:

Up to $20,000

Closes:

1 November 2014 - 17 April 2015

Payment:

Two $2,500 instalments after the HECS census date for Semester 1 and Semester 2 for the full duration of the degree (including Honours).

Eligibility:

To apply for this scholarship you must:

  • Be intending to enrol, or are a first year student enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree at any one of Murdoch University's campuses
  • Live within the City of Kwinana (eligible postcodes 6165, 6167, 6170)
  • Are experiencing circumstances of personal or financial hardship
  • Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident

1 Download and complete the application form
2 Email the following documents to scholarships@murdoch.edu.au
  • Completed application form
  • Copies of school reports for Years 11 and 12
  • ATAR ranking
  • Centrelink Income Statement
  • Evidence of Acceptance into Murdoch University
  • A Personal Income Statement
  • A personal statement of no more than 500 words describing why you should be considered for this scholarship

What happens next?

All applications are ranked against each other in a careful assessment of the information provided in the application form. Please ensure that you submit all of the required documentation and contact the Student Financial Support Office if you have any questions.
